The HMS crew showed up in every way 💙 Mums and dads playing alongside their kids, first-time players giving it a go, friends laughing and lifting each other up on the field.
We played hard, had fun, and started real conversations about domestic violence honouring Tara Brown’s memory through the sport we all love.
It wasn’t just about tries it was about community, connection, and passing the game on to the next gen.
We couldn’t be prouder.
Creating a safe, open vibe means everything. 🙏🏽
💡5 ways to get help or support if you’re going through DV (domestic violence):
▫️Talk to someone you trust – a youth worker, guidance officer, social worker, teacher, coach, school counselor, or family friend. You don’t have to go through it alone.
▫️Call 1800RESPECT (1800 737 732) – it’s free, confidential, and available 24/7.
Create a safety plan – know where you can go if you ever feel unsafe.
▫️Visit kidshelpline.com.au or call 1800 55 1800 – it’s just for young people.
▫️Remember: It’s never your fault. Everyone deserves to feel safe, loved, and supported.
Let’s keep showing up for each other. 💛
